Yesterday's double feature in Lower Mainland skies

Yesterday, I spent a lot of time staring at the sky around Vancouver.

At 6 p.m. I was on White Rock beach, watching the Snowbirds perform in the Wings Over White Rock Show:

By 10 p.m., I was back in the city, watching the Celebration of Light from the hill near the Aquatic Centre:

The fireworks last night were spectacular -- I'd say they were the best yet. And the Snowbirds -- well, having never seen them before, I've got to say that they were pretty spectacular too. What a cool way to spend an evening in Vancouver!
