Wings Over White Rock July 30

If you're not into the Celebration of Light Fireworks, or if you live out in the 'burbs and don't want to face the challenge of getting into the city on fireworks night, there's a different kind of show in the sky happening at White Rock beach on Wednesday (July 30).

Wings Over White Rock is a 30-minute airshow featuring the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, and it's part of a fundraising weekend for the CHILD foundation. The snowbirds fly at 6 p.m., and the best viewing spots are right on White Rock beach.
