Westjet Flies to Kona, Hawaii

If you're itching to hit up the Big Island but you're worried about your budget, the trip to Hawaii just got a heck of a lot cheaper. Westjet Airlines will be adding a direct flight between Vancouver and Kona starting next January.

Westjet is known for offering exceptionally good customer service and that is how they have come to be "a leading low-cost Canadian airline." The trip from Vancouver to Hawaii will be offered every Thursday and Sunday on board a Boeing 737.

The introductory fare is $249 one-way, not including taxes.
