Vinyl Cafe Christmas kicks the season off right

I'm a big fan of Christmas. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I get started on the celebrations a little bit early (though not as early as some, who've had the Christmas lights up for weeks already...). For me, the official holiday season begins Dec. 1 (today!). This year, however, my holiday experience started a day early with the Vinyl Cafe Christmas show at the Centre in Vancouver last night.

I sat in the very back row of the balcony at the Centre -- three whole stories up from the stage -- yet had a pretty good view. And the show? Well, the show was fantastic. An excellent way to kick start my holiday cheer. Stuart McLean had the loyal crowd in stitches, and the musical performances were great. The Vinyl Cafe Christmas show is an annual tradition, so if you missed it this year, keep an eye out for next year's show.
