Vancouver author Joy Kogawa reads tonight at KidsBooks

Author Joy Kogawa, whose many books examine the internment of Japanese Canadians during the second world war, reads from her new children's book Naomi's Tree tonight at Kidsbooks.

Tickets are $5 and are redeemable towards a copy of the book at the reading.

Kidsbooks is at 3083 West Broadway. The reading starts at 7 p.m.
