Tuesdays with Morrie

Based on the hugely popular and tear-jerking novel by MItch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie started its run at the Granville Island Stage last night and performances will continue until the end of the month.

As you may or may not have heard, Tuesdays with Morrie follows a man named Mitch who learns, sixteen years after his graduation, that his favourite professor has come down with Lou Gehrig's disease. Mitch is then reunited with his old teacher -- Morrie -- and what starts out as a single simple visit turns into "a last class in the meaning of life."

Adult tickets range from $33 to $41, depending on the performance time, and there are discounts for seniors and students.
