On a recent Saturday morning, I found myself brunching at the delightful Epicurean Caffe Bistro in Kitsilano. A sweet little caffe, with a charming small patio and enormous lattes, the Epicurean was a real hit.
There are tons of brunch choices at the Epicurean, and they all sound delicious. This mad for a longer-than-usual decision period. Eventually, I settled on the Frittata -- a lovely omelette with Fontina cheese and roasted Peppers, accompanied by a small salad, roasted potatoes, and toast for $8.50. My dining companion had the Classico breakfast -- eggs sunny side up, potatoes, salad, pancetta, and toast for $8.00.
We both left pleasantly stuffed, and ready to face a long, lazy weekend.
You can find the Epicurean at 1896 W. 1st Ave. Check them out online at www.epicureancaffe.com.
