Snow Coming Back to Vancouver Tonight?

snowinvancouver.jpg

Don't take those winter tires off of your car just yet, because Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Greater Vancouver, as well as the Fraser Valley.

The amount of snow has yet to be determined, but they're saying that we could see as much as five centimetres in Metro Vancouver. The white stuff is expected to "develop for the south coast tonight and into Tuesday." To my memory, Vancouver has experienced two "sets" of snow so far this season, depending on what area you're in. Third time's the charm?

This is great news for anyone looking to head to the hills for some skiing or snowboarding action, but be prepared for a longer commute to work and make sure you stay safe out there. Slow down. If you're up near Howe Sound, there could be as much as 20 centimetres. Listen to the radio for school closures early tomorrow morning.
