Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds

Vancouver is a pretty picturesque town. We've got the beautiful docks at Granville Island. We have those terrific mountains to the north. We've got leisurely beaches in Jericho and Kitsilano. The area surrounding Vancouver is simply stunning as well. While Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds may be more familiar with Vancouver as Hollywood North, they've also decided on this location for their nuptials.

The two well-known movie stars got married over the weekend at an undisclosed location near Vancouver. The pair embarked to a remote wilderness resort for a small ceremony and we hear that this resort was on an island off the coast. Bowen Island? Vancouver Island? We're not sure and that's exactly how the newlyweds want to keep it. Needless to say, they wanted to keep pretty private about it all.

Ryan Reynolds, 31, is actually a native of Vancouver, having graduated from Kitsilano Secondary. Scarlett Johansson is 23.
