Saturday is Gay Day at Playland!

Vancouver Pride Day -- featuring the famous Pride Parade -- is coming up on August 3, and pride events have been in full swing around the city since June. Next up is Gay Day at Playland this Saturday, July 19.

Gay Day features all the regular excitement of Playland with the added thrill of drag kings and queen and live Pride-themed entertainment. Plus, at $27, Pride Passes get you into Playland with access to all rides for $7 less than the discounted passes on sale at 7-11.

You can get your pride passes for Gay Day at Playland at Little Sisters or at the Pride booth at the front gate of Playland on Saturday. Partial proceeds benefit other Pride events.

The Vancouver Pride Society encourages visitors to Gay Day to show their support for Pride by wearing a red t-shirt for the day.
