Salon at Spa Utopia Vancouver: Gone!

A couple of months ago, I told you that I was a Spa Utopia girl through and through. Well, now I've got a problem: the Spa Utopia hair salon is closed at the Vancouver Location!

Spa Utopia is still offering salon services at the Langley and North Vancouver locations, but for a downtown girl, a commute for a haircut just doesn't make sense. In fact, the whole thing doesn't make sense: the spa is already huge, and the salon was always packed!

Here's what Spa Utopia says about the salon closure on their website:

Pan Pacific Spa Expansion We are excited to announce that we will be expanding our spa facilities. We will be adding 3 multi-purpose treatment rooms and one couple’s suite for massage and esthetic services.
We will no longer be offering salon services at our Pan Pacific location. Our hair design team will relocate to either North Vancouver or Langley, where they will be happy to help you.

So, the search for a new hair salon begins. I'll keep you posted on any hot new salon finds!

Did you have any luck with a new salon? I was thinking of going to North Van Spa Utopia for a cut, but have no idea what they are like. I got a certificate which is why I am thinking about going. I am looking for a top stylist who knows what they are doing. If anyone recommends a stylist at Spa Utopia North Van please let me know. Thanks!

No luck yet (I'm sticking to a ponytail for the summer). But I totally recommend checking out the North Van location if it's close to you. I loved the Spa Utopia salon. All the stylists are great, and it's a very luxurious experience!
