Put your thinking cap on for SFU's Philosophers' Cafes

Simon Fraser University's Continuing Studies Department puts on Philosophers' Cafes throughout the lower mainland, where people can get together to talk, debate and, of course, philosophize about the burning topics of the day.

Vancouver locations include:

• Café Kathmandu at 2779 Commercial Dr. at 7:30 pm, on the last Monday of the month


• The Vancouver Art Gallery at 750 Hornby Street at 7 pm on October 2, November 6, and December 4


• False Creek Community Centre at 1318 Cartwright St on Granville Island at 7 pm on the first Thursday of the month


• Philosophers Fireside Café at the Unitarian Centre at 949 West 49th Ave. from 7–9 pm on the third Friday of the month

Admission for all Philosophers' Cafe events is $5. You can learn more about the upcoming topics, and other locations throughout the lower mainland here.
