Pride Weekend launches tomorrow

Vancouver's Pride Weekend launches tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. The launch event happens at the Vancouver Art Gallery from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

At noon, you can meet the Pride parade's Grand Marshals: Jane Rule, Gilbert Baker, and Sahran Abeysundara. You can find all of their bios here.

Mayor Sam Sullivan will present the Pride Week Proclamation to officially start off the weekend's celebrations.

And a bonus: You can buy a Krispy Kreme doughnut (mmmmm... doughnuts) as part of the Pride fundraiser!
