Poetry Slam tonight at Cafe Deux Soleils

Got some poetry tucked in a shoebox that you've been dying to share with the world? Then head down to Cafe Deux Soleils tonight for the Vancouver Poetry Slam.

It's Canada’s longest running Poetry Slam, and it happens on the first, third, and fifth Monday of every month from 8 - 11 p.m.. It's open to everyone.

The competition is decided by five random judges picked from the audience each night. Ten competitors each get three minutes at the open mic. Each week there's also a featured performer, and this week it's the Victoria Poetry Slam Team
