Perseid meteor shower over Vancouver skies tonight

Tonight would be a great time to head to a local park with a blanket and someone to snuggle -- as the annual Perseid meteor shower passes over the earth.

The meteor shower, which is visible in August of each year, is a trail of debris from the Comet Swift-Tuttle, which is located beyond the orbit of Uranus.

The first shooting stars were visible last night and very early this morning, but there's still time to catch the show tonight!
