Paddle your way through a three-hour tour

As long as you're not put off by what happened to the passengers on that *other* three-hour tour, you might want to check out the "Deep Cove Explorer," a three-hour guided kayak tour that takes you up Indian Arm, where you can see marine life and eagles in areas you just couldn't reach in larger boats.

The tour runs every afternoon all summer, and is run by Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Centre. The cost is $80 for teens and adults, $50 for kids 12 and under, and includes a beverage and snack. No kayaking experience is necessary, as you'll learn the basics of kayaking before hitting the water. This tour is described as "low intensity" in the paddling department.

There's also the 5-hour Island-hopper tour for $110 including lunch, or the Full Moon Evening Explorer ($25 - $55; requires Level 1 or equivalent paddling experience).
