Organic Cuisine at 2010 Winter Games

organicfood.jpg

Vancouver is known for a lot of things. We are a very multicultural city that celebrates cuisine from all around the world, but we are also very much in touch with the environment and green living. We tend to be health nuts too. That's why it only makes sense that the Winter Olympic Games in 2010 will be one of the first ever to feature "a distinctly organic flavour."

The Vancouver Organizing Committee has announced that Hain Celestial Canada will be the Official Supplier of natural and organic packaged grocery products for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The company is already very well known for its healthy foods, including some brands that you may recognize like Yves Veggie Cuisine, Terra Chips, and Earth's Best baby food.

The sponsorship deal also includes supplying the Canadian Olympic team with natural and organic food at both the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 games.
