Only one week left for U23D at CN IMAX

If you are even a little bit of a U2 fan, and you haven't seen U23D at CN IMAX, get yourself down there this week or you'll be terribly sorry you missed out. As of March 31, this remarkable concert film is gone from Vancouver's waterfront IMAX theatre, soon to be replaced by the Martin Scorsese Rolling Stones concert flick Shine a Light (starting on April 4).

The 3D work in U23D is spectacular, with Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton seeming to appear inches in front of your nose. The selection of songs is good, and the $14 ticket is well worth the price. The CN IMAX theatre has assigned seating, so buy your tickets online at www.imax.com/vancouver ahead of time to get your pick.

While you're there, check out the very well-reviewed Dolphins & Whales 3D. There doesn't seem to be a discount for buying tickets to both shows together online, but there is if you buy at the door.

If you catch the 5:00 show, you should get out just in time to catch the sunset over the water, which is a pretty phenomenal show in itself. A pretty great way to start off a night on the town!
