Not into Canada Day at Canada Place? Check out White Rock Beach instead

If you don't feel like checking out Canada Day at Canada Place, there are lots of other Canada Day celebration options in Metro Vancouver. One nice one is the celebration at White Rock Beach.

White Rock is easy to get to on the 351 bus if you're leaving from the city, or a quick drive from just about anywhere else in Metro. It's a lovely beachside community, and they're having their Canada Day celebrations right on the beach.

The main stage on the popular West Beach has live music from 12-9, and the stage on the quieter East Beach has music from 12:30 - 4:30.

Live music, right on the beach? You can't go wrong with that! There's a Cops for Cancer pitch & put, a hot dog sale, and games for kids (including a sandcastle competition) too.
