MEC Paddlefest Vancouver Happens Today at Ambleside Park

Paddlefest is an all-day event dedicated to everything you ever wanted to know about the kayak or the canoe.

Hosted by Mountain Equipment Co-op, the event takes place today at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

It features land- and water-based clinics offering the chance to learn paddling and rescue skills, marine navigation, and how to plan and pack for a kayak trip, among other sessions. You can also test boats and watersports equipments, and enter to win a $100 MEC gift card.
