LTN_WEBLOGO.JPG

The Light the Night Walk is an annual fundraising event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Funds raised support their search for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

It's a 5k walk in the twilight where participants carry illuminated balloons. Supporters carry red balloons, cancer patients and survivors carry white balloons, and anyone walking in memory of a loved one carries a gold balloon.

Vancouver band Finding Friday will also be playing at the event.

This Year's Light the Night Walk takes place Saturday, September 27, at Ceperly Meadows in Stanley Park, starting at 6 p.m., and is expected to raise $400,000 for LLS.

For more information, or to register to participate, visit the Light the Night website here.
