Latest stop in my hunt for Vancouver's best green curry

The latest Thai place in my attempt to find Vancouver's best green curry is Thai Terrace at 2872 West Broadway. This looks like it's mostly a takeout joint, but there are plenty of tables if you choose to eat in. And conveniently, they have loads of tabloid magazines to keep you entertained if you stop by to order and decide to wait for your food. Plus, they're cheap. A curry dinner combo with rice, salad, spring roll, and soup is only $8.95. Mots places cut off that kind of deal after lunch.

That said, Thai Terrace does not make it onto my top 5 list for Vancouver's best green curry. They curry was okay, but surprisingly lacking in any vegetables other than bamboo shoots and a couple of pieces of eggplant (and one slice of red pepper). The spring roll was fine, but the sauce wasn't up to snuff, so I subbed some plum sauce I had in my fridge. And the soup was inedible.

For a rainy night in Vancouver, when convenient location was one of the biggest deciding factors, Thia Terrace was okay. But there are far superior Thai takeout places in Vancouver, and this one won't be added to my list for return visit.
