Khai Thai -- great Thai food at Seymour and Robson

header.jpg

Tucked in behind a construction zone on Seymour St. (near Robson), there's a surprising little gem of a Thai restaurant. Light pours in through a central skylight, and water fountains bubble soothingly in the background.

I'm vegetarian, so Asian food is always a great option for me. Khai Thai has lots of great dishes featuring tofu, and can sub tofu for meat in others. The green curry is totally delicious, and the Pad Praram was very tasty. It's a great place to go with a few friends, order up several dishes and a bowl of rice, and share up a delicious and fun meal.

Khai Thai is very close to the Orpheum, and would make for a good pre-theatre meal. Check out their menus at www.khaithai.com
