Jessica Choi Wins Miss Chinese Vancouver 2007

Vancouver may not be a city particularly well known for its beauty pageants, but we do host them from time to time. The Miss Chinese Vancouver 2007 competition was held recently with the crown being awarded to 19-year-old Jessica Choi.

Jessica was born in Toronto, but is currently attending Simon Fraser University. In addition to the biggest award of the night, the lovely Miss Choi also won Miss Photogenic and the Perfect Complexion Award. From here, she will move on to the Miss Chinese International pageant in China next month, representing Vancouver. She's clearly nervous about the prospects, but she is also ecstatic about her win.

“I thought last night’s show was where it would all end. It’s nerve-wracking to think this is only the first step for me.” Vancouver has nabbed four international crowns over five years.

Like all other pageants they are all rigged! Winner of Miss HK 2007 & 2008 has background with the judges, rich dad (2008) that sponsored many of the commercial or used to work for fairchild tv in vancouver to get a spot to miss Hk 2007. If you don't have connections, you will not win but you can try out for the 2nd runner up spot.

2) Connections? Whatever, she's just the hottest, that's how we make 'em at the pool. Be thankful there wasn't a swim-suit element to the show, or you might be feeling bad about your self for the rest of your life :p .
