The Go Abroad Fair is an exhibition aimed at young people thinking about studying, travelling, volunteering or working abroad, parents who want information about international opportunities available for their children, and teachers and educational advisors.

The fair features an Exhibit Hall where you can visit exhibit booths and tables to find out more about the opportunities from the fair's exhibitors.

There's also a Seminar Series, with hourly seminars on a broad range of topics, including global career skills, volunteer and intern opportunities abroad, travel health and emergency tips, and much more.

The Go Abroad Fair happens at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre (999 Canada Place), in the East Ballroom ABC, Level One of the East Building. Admission is free, and no advance registration is needed. The fair runs Saturday, September 13 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Sunday, September 14 from 11:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The seminar "Global Career Skills: Expert advice for anyone considering going abroad to study, volunteer, intern, teach, travel or work!" presented by author Jean-Marc Hachey will take place one hour before the start time on each day.
