Garbage Strike Photo Stream - 298 Pictures Later

In my daily journeys through all the blogs on the Internet, I came across an interesting post by Darren Barefoot. In it, he links to a huge photo stream on Flickr that depicts our city's garbage strike from just about every angle, addressing the issues of fruit flies, rats, and more.

Inside the Flickr group, you'll find nearly 300 pictures of the garbage strike with trash bags laying around everywhere. I went for a jog through Queen Elizabeth Park the other day and it was disgusting with the garbage flying around in every which direction. What's happened to our beautiful city?
