Five Must-Eats at PNE: Part 5

pne-hotdog.jpg

All this week, I've been bringing you some of the great food that you can eat while cruising around on the Pacific National Exhibition fairgrounds. It is particularly enjoyable to munch on some mini-donuts as you soak in the evening showing of the Superdogs. Maybe you're the type that likes to peruse the carnival games as you much on a caramel apple.

Aside from the legendary BBQ chicken that I described earlier this week, there is one other savoury item that really hits the spot when you're looking for some "real food" and not just something to satisfy your sweet tooth. No, it's not the most exciting thing in the world, nor is it unique to the PNE,but a trip to the fair isn't complete until you partake in a footlong hot dog.

Load it up with all the toppings that you'd like, including ketchup, mustard, relish, and onions and chow down on that foot long hot dog. It's also quite nice that the footlong hot dog is one of the most affordable meals that you can have at the fair, because buying a full burger or a plate of Asian noodles can prove to be quite the pricey affair!
