Eat Vancouver Festival opens tomorrow

Miss Rob Feenie every time you walk past Lumiere? Well, this weekend you can find him hanging out at the Eat Vancouver festival at BC Place Stadium.

Rob Feenie will appear on the Food Network Celebrity Stage preparing a soy, ginger, sake marinated sablefish dish served in a dashi broth. Other celebrity chefs appearing at Eat Vancouver include Anna Olson (of the Food Network), “BBQ” Naz Cavallaro (of Weber-Stephen Products, Co.), and Bob Blumer (The Surreal Gourmet).

When you're not drooling over the dishes cooked up by these celebrity chefs, you could be sampling goodies from any of the hundreds of exhibitors, and learning about food and wine in the process. Tickets are $14 ($12 if you bring a non-perishable food item for the Union Gospel Mission food drive, or if you buy online).
