David Beckham Visit Rescheduled for Nov 7

If you've been anxious to see David Beckham in real life, mark your calendars for November 7. That's the date that Becks is coming to town with the Los Angeles Galaxy, when the MLS team takes on our Vancouver Whitecaps at B.C. Place Stadium.

The original exhibition game was supposed to take place on October 3, but Beckham sprained his right knee in a soccer match in Mexico on August 29. As part of the arrangement, Beckham had to be available to play the game with the Whitecaps in order for the match to take place at all.

"We are ecstatic to be able to confirm a date and move ahead with hosting a spectacular event," Bob Lenarduzzi, the Vancouver Whitecaps president, said in a release.
