Celebrate Canada Day in Surrey

A good deal of attention is being driven toward places like Granville Island and Canada Place for Canada Day celebrations today, but one of the biggest Canada Day parties in the Metro Vancouver area is taking place across the bridge in Surrey.

The City of Surrey has teamed up with Coast Capital Savings for this year's festivities. Expect a full day with "family fun, community friendship and great entertainment." There will be free concerts throughout the day, including headliners Loverboy and The Payola$. You can also expect some great tunes from Rymes with Orange, Wil, Elise Estrada, Five Alarm Funk, Tracey Chamberlain, and Josee Allard.
