Catch Emerging Opera Talent at Vanier Park

The UBC Opera Ensemble, directed by Nancy Hermiston, performs the arias from Mozart’s Don Giovanni (which they've just performed in Prague) at the Bard on the Beach tents in Vanier Park August 25 (8 p.m.), September 1 (1 and 7 p.m.) and September 8 (7 p.m.) only.

This cast of emerging opera talent will be accompanied by members of Vancouver Opera Orchestra, conducted by Leslie Dala.

The event is called "Opera and Arias" on the Bard on the Beach website. Tickets for the first performance are sold out, but there are still seats available for the September shows. Tickets cost $31, and can be purchased online here.
