Canucks Head to Victoria for Training Camp

Hockey season is almost here, believe it or not. We will soon be storming our way back to GM Place to watch Markus Naslund, Roberto Luongo (pictured) and the rest of the hometown crew take on the best and the brightest that the NHL has to offer. Before they tackle the Oilers, the Ducks, and the Flames, however, the Canucks need to get in some training and this year, they're holding camp across the water in Victoria.

On-ice training camp will be held from Sept. 7-10 at Bear Mountain Arena for rookies and prospects, whereas the veterans will show up for the main camp from Sept. 13-15. An intrasquad game will take place on September 16th at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
