Vancouver is known as one the premiere international destinations for travelers, because our lovely city offers a little bit of everything. We've got great beaches, tremendous ski hills, and plenty of forest. But what about people that actually live in Vancouver? As much as we love our town, we still want to travel, don't we?
Thankfully, your next trip to Hong Kong could be a heck of a lot cheaper. Oasis Airlines has officially launched their long-haul, non-stop service between Vancouver and the Asian metropolis. The flight takes 12 hours and Oasis will be offering it six days a week. To accommodate the extra volume, Oasis has purchased three additional plains and expanded their in-flight resources.
Return airfare in economy class starts at just US$509, with business class starting at $2,303. They also guarantee that 10% of seats on all flights -- regardless of season -- will be available for $255 one-way. These price points reflect about a 50% savings over Oasis' main competitor, Cathay Pacific.
