Bc Cultural Crawl on 'til Aug. 31

VANDOP-BC_Cultural_Crawl_-_peter_kiss_sm_web.jpgThis past weekend saw the kickoff of the 7th Annual BC Cultural Crawl. From now until August 31, over 70 communities around the province will be part of this annual art and culture celebration.

According to Trudy Van Dop, founder of the BC Cultural Crawl and Publisher of the Arts and Cultural Guide to BC, “The BC Cultural Crawl is a celebration of the arts and culture of BC, hosted by a diverse mix of artists and business owners in a specific region."

The Crawl includes musical, theatrical, and dance performances, visual arts displays, museum and heritage exhibitions, culinary and winery experiences, and art walks, among other finds.

In Vancouver, there are several self-directed Crawl itineraries, including the Chinatown Cultural Crawl, the Downtown Cultural Crawl, th Downtown Vancouver Shoreline Art Walk, th Jewish Cultural Crawl, and the Main Street Cultural Crawl. You can find all of the itineraries here and learn more about the BC Cultural Crawl here.
