Another Baby Goes On Sale On Craigslist

By now, you've surely heard the story about the baby being listed on Craigslist with an asking price of $10,000. The infant has now been taken away from the parents, but it seems that the effect of that story is still permeating through the rest of province.

A copycat has shown up on Vancouver Island where police are investigating yet another Internet posting advertising a baby for sale. The ad, like the previous one, appeared on Craigslist. In going through their investigation, police discovered that the Craigslist posting was uploaded from a home in Saanich, BC.

All the computers in the home were checked and now they believe that "someone had hijacked the Internet address at the residence." So, this posting -- as far as they can tell -- is yet another hoax, except there does not appear to be an actual baby involved.
