A unique perspective on Vancouver from Tommy Chong

ProductImage.jpgDid you know that stoner-comedians Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong (aka, of couse, Cheech & Chong) got their start in a Gastown strip joint? It's true -- and you can read all about it, and get a unique perspective on the Vancouver of the late 1960s in Tommy Chong's new book, Cheech & Chong: The Unauthorized Autobiography.

Among other adventures, you'll read about how Cheech & Chong met in Vancouver in 1967, and developed their comedy routine, which was originally based on sex jokes (they were, after all, performing in a strip club) into the stoner routine they became famous for.

The book was published on August 12, and is available online at Chapters.
