2010 Winter Olympics - Under 1 Year and Counting

We are now less than a year away from the opening ceremonies on February 12, 2010. Much like Expo '86 changed the footprint and global perspective of Vancouver, so too will 2010 forever leave its mark on the city and residents of Vancouver.

Here is a round-up of coverage celebrating the 1-Year Countdown to the 2010 Winter Olympics:

IOC president Rogge marks 1-year countdown:

"The countdown has begun ... In just one year, the slopes of Whistler, the Pacific Coliseum and Cypress Mountain will be open for Olympic competition. I have been extremely pleased with the progress of the organization"
